Position Wise Eligibility and Requirements (As Advertised)
1) Member (Strategic Planning) – Contract (2 years extendable)
Minimum Eligibility
- PhD degree in any discipline with minimum 20 years of distinguished experience in higher education, research, or academic administration in government or private sector
- At least 5 years of service in a leadership and strategic position with a proven record of strategic planning, program management, and good governance
Desirable Profile and Responsibilities

- At least 5 years in senior academic or research leadership roles with a proven record of strategic leadership

Experience

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
The MD NAHE role is positioned as a national capacity building leadership role, covering:
- Building NAHE as a globally accredited and technologically advanced institution for training and research on higher education
- Designing and delivering high quality capacity building programs across teaching, research, academic governance, and leadership competencies
- Commissioning studies on capacity needs and impact assessment, developing a national database of academic resources
- Developing training pathways for faculty and staff, promoting change in academic culture and professional growth
- Global engagement with renowned institutions, long term partnerships, and international training opportunities
- Outreach through conferences, workshops, publications, digital platforms, and regular reporting
- Developing business plans toward sustainability, ensuring third party annual audit reports, and maintaining transparency through digital access
5) Member (Academics) – BPS 22 Regular (One post)
Age Requirement
- Minimum age: 45 years
- Maximum age: 55 years
Minimum Eligibility
- PhD degree in any discipline with 22 years experience in teaching, research, management, leadership, or administration in BPS 17 and above (or equivalent), including at least 5 years experience in BPS 21 (or equivalent) in Government or Semi Government organization
- Experience in managing complex administrative and financial organizations is required
- Candidates with research publications in internationally reputable journals will be preferred
Desirable
- Strong understanding of academic principles and practices including pedagogy, curricula, educational technologies, online learning, and accreditation
- Experience of leading large educational institutions is valued
- Strength in program development and integration with market and communities is a plus
- Stakeholder engagement experience at policy and negotiation level can be an advantage
