- Provideconsultation, diagnosis, and treatmentin your specialty acrossOPD, IPD, Emergency, OT/Procedure rooms.
- Lead or participate inon-call rotas, ensuring timely response for emergencies and critical cases.
- Conductward rounds, developmanagement plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary care with allied teams.
Quality, safety, and documentation
- Maintain completepatient records,prescriptions,consent, anddischarge summariesin line with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health regulations.
- Implementinfection prevention and control (IPC)bundles,antimicrobial stewardship, andblood safetypractices.
- Supportmortality & morbidity (M&M)reviews,clinical audits, andprotocol adoptionto raise standards consistently.
Training and teamwork
- Supervise and mentormedical officers, house officers, and nursing staffassigned to your unit.
- Participate inCME, bedside teaching, case presentations, and skills drills (BLS/ACLS/ATLS where relevant).
- Collaborate withradiology, pathology, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and nursingto streamline patient journeys and reduce length of stay.
Public service & outreach
- Contribute toreferral pathwaysbetween tehsil hospitals and the DHQ; improveturnaroundfor diagnostics and surgery.
