General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi invites applications from retiring, released, or retiring Army Officers (Majors, Lieutenant Colonels, and Colonels) for civilian gazetted officer positions in different departments and formations. The opportunity is available to candidates with proper professional and academic qualifications, preferably those having served up to two years ago.
These jobs are organized under job/arm and station-based criteria, as well as appointments in education, IT systems, law affairs, sport administration, engineering, among many more. The candidates to be chosen shall hold key project, instructional, and administrative positions with potential nationwide deployment.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible Ranks: Retired/Released Colonels, Lieutenant Colonels, and Majors
- Age Limits:
- Colonels: up to 54 years
- Lt. Colonels/Majors: up to 52 years
- Retirement Period: Within the last two years (excluding LPR)
❌ Ineligibility Conditions
- Officers with disciplinary cases involving moral conduct or financial misconduct during service
- Declared as medically unfit
- Retired under “Medical Category EEE”
