Divisional Director Health Services, Mekran Division (Turbat) — 2025 Contract Hiring for Doctors, Specialists, Nurses & Allied Health (Kech, Gwadar & Panjgur)
Divisional Director Health Services, Mekran Division (Turbat) is hiring qualified professionals on a purely contract/adhoc basis for one (01) year (extendable on satisfactory performance) for government hospitals across Kech (Turbat), Gwadar and Panjgur. Vacancies span faculty/consultant level (BPS-18), medical officers & dentists (mostly BPS-17), pharmacy, nursing (Tutor/Head/Staff/Male Nurse) and allied health.
Primary duty stations include DHQ Hospital Gwadar, Teaching Hospital Turbat, Teaching Hospital Panjgur, DHQ Panjgur, 50-Bedded Hospitals (Panjgur/Keelkure) plus RHCs/RHQs (Pasni, Jiwani, Ormara, Surbander, Jewani, Keelkure, Paroom, Rekodiq, etc.).

Eligibility & General Requirements
✅ Education & Registration
- All doctors must possess degrees from recognized institutions with permanent PMDC/PMC registration in the relevant specialty.
- Dentists: BDS with permanent PMDC registration.
- Pharmacists: D-Pharm/B-Pharm (Senior Pharmacist with M.Phil preferred) and PCR registration.
- Nurses: Qualifications recognized by Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) with valid registration.
- Additional specialty diplomas (ICU, Anesthesia, Pediatrics, etc.) will strengthen your case.
🧑⚖️ Age Limit
- As per Government of Balochistan policy for the respective BPS/appointment type. Age will be verified on the closing date.
🧭 Nature of Appointment
- Contract/adhoc for 01 year, extendable on the basis of excellent performance certificates and service need.
🧾 Other Rules
- Government/semi-government/autonomous body employees must apply through proper channel with NOC from the employer/parent department.
- No TA/DA for appearing in test/interview.
- Any misrepresentation, canvassing, concealment of facts, or submission of fake documents entails disqualification and possible legal action/termination.
- DDHS reserves the right to change/cancel recruitment at any stage without assigning reason.

Role Snapshots (What You’ll Do)
Assistant Professors & Specialists (BPS-18)
- Provide specialist OPD/IPD, OT and ICU services aligned with clinical governance.
- Lead ward rounds, MDT discussions and mentor junior staff/PG trainees (where applicable).
- Establish protocols/SOPs for anesthesia safety, emergency care, obstetrics, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pediatrics and psychiatry.
- Support CME sessions, morbidity/mortality reviews and referral pathways to tertiary centers.
Medical Officers / Lady Medical Officers (BPS-17)
- Deliver 24/7 primary and secondary care at assigned hospitals/RHCs.
- Manage ER, OPD, ward coverage, stabilization and timely referral.
- Maintain EMR/registers, vaccination records and public health reporting.
- Uphold infection prevention & control, rational drug use and patient counseling.
Dental Surgeon (BPS-17)
- Provide dental OPD, minor surgical procedures, prophylaxis and oral health education.
- Ensure sterilization, radiation safety (where applicable) and equipment maintenance.
Pharmacy (Senior Pharmacist/Pharmacist)
- Oversee formulary management, procurement coordination, stock control, expiry management and pharmacovigilance.
- Lead medication safety initiatives, prescription audits and counseling at discharge.
Nursing (Tutor/Head/Staff/Male Nurse)
- Tutor Nurse: Classroom/clinical teaching, OSCE prep, skills lab, and PNC documentation.
- Head Nurse: Unit leadership, rosters, nursing quality indicators, code/OT readiness.
- Staff & Male Nurses: Bedside care, triage, medication administration, IPC, and documentation.
- Support emergency drills, neonatal resuscitation, and safe peri-operative practices.
