What You Will Do (by role)
1) Chief Engineer/General Manager (Site) — Drive the site beyond operational excellence
- Lead the plant’s operational, technical, maintenance, and administrative functions.
- Serve as the senior-most authority at site with 24/7 oversight.
- Deliver target KPIs: availability, heat rate, reliability, fuel efficiency.
- Review monthly dashboards, logbooks, audits, and performance trends.
- Supervise and evaluate O&M contractor performance; approve maintenance schedules and outage plans.
- Manage emergencies, ensure HSE implementation, and approve incident investigations.
- Ensure adherence to NEPRA, NTDC, NPCC, CPPA-G guidelines and grid codes.
- Oversee HR/Admin, logistics, housing, utilities, and site infrastructure.
- Lead discipline, welfare, and motivational initiatives to build a high-performance culture.
- Participate in Board/Ministry of Energy/regulatory meetings, and support audits, legal cases, insurance claims.
- Ensure fuel reconciliation, energy billing coordination, meter reading validation, and budgetary control. ✅
