What You Will Do (by role)

1) Chief Engineer/General Manager (Site) — Drive the site beyond operational excellence

  • Lead the plant’s operational, technical, maintenance, and administrative functions.
  • Serve as the senior-most authority at site with 24/7 oversight.
  • Deliver target KPIs: availability, heat rate, reliability, fuel efficiency.
  • Review monthly dashboards, logbooks, audits, and performance trends.
  • Supervise and evaluate O&M contractor performance; approve maintenance schedules and outage plans.
  • Manage emergencies, ensure HSE implementation, and approve incident investigations.
  • Ensure adherence to NEPRA, NTDC, NPCC, CPPA-G guidelines and grid codes.
  • Oversee HR/Admin, logistics, housing, utilities, and site infrastructure.
  • Lead discipline, welfare, and motivational initiatives to build a high-performance culture.
  • Participate in Board/Ministry of Energy/regulatory meetings, and support audits, legal cases, insurance claims.
  • Ensure fuel reconciliation, energy billing coordination, meter reading validation, and budgetary control. ✅

2) Manager/Assistant Manager (Operations) — Inspire teams to deliver beyond expectations

  • Keep tight oversight of O&M contractor for combined-cycle units, HRSGs, auxiliaries, and BOP systems.
