Test & Interview Schedule — Kumak Fund Recruitment (Social Welfare Department, Balochistan) | Quetta

The Balochistan Persons with Disabilities Support Fund (KUMAK) under the Social Welfare Department, Government of Balochistan has released the official test and interview schedule for shortlisted candidates (ref: PRQ No. 2813/15-12-2025). All shortlisted applicants must appear in person at the notified date and time.


Complete Test/Interview Timetable

Report at least 30–45 minutes before the test time for document check and attendance. Tests for serial 1–8 are followed by interviews on the same day.

Test-Day Instructions & Conduct ✅

  • Arrival: Reach 30–45 minutes early for attendance and verification.
  • 🖊️ For Serial 1–7: Bring a clipboard and pen for the test.
  • 📵 No mobile phones: Use of cell phones is strictly prohibited. Anyone found using a phone will be disqualified.
  • 👔 Dress code: Formal or neat attire; dress modestly and comfortably.
  • 🍽️ Food & water: Carry a small water bottle and light snack; follow venue rules.
  • 🧑‍⚖️ Discipline: Follow invigilators’ and committee members’ directions at all times.
  • 💸 No TA/DA: Travel or daily allowance is not admissible for appearing in the test/interview.

What to Expect: Pattern & Preparation Tips

Although the department hasn’t published a detailed test syllabus, typical evaluations for these roles generally cover:

1) Account Assistant / Finance Manager

  • Accounting & Finance: Journal entries, bank reconciliation, ledgers, trial balance, financial statements, budgeting, petty cash.
  • Public Sector Basics: Procurement rules overview, audit observations, compliance and documentation.
  • IT Skills: Excel (pivot, v-lookup), simple MIS entries.

Prep tips:

  • Revise double-entry, common vouchers, and MS Excel functions.
  • Be ready to discuss your experience with audits, cash handling, and reporting.

2) Procurement Officer

  • PPRA concepts, tendering, bid evaluation criteria, comparative statements, and contract files.
  • Ethical procurement and record-keeping.

Prep tips:

  • Skim PPRA Rules essentials; prepare examples of RFQ/RFP you’ve handled.

3) MIS Officer / Data Entry Operator

  • Data accuracy, typing speed, spreadsheet/data cleaning basics; simple dashboards or reports.
  • For MIS: basic databases, user support, troubleshooting, and networking fundamentals.

Prep tips:

  • Practice quick typing tests, Excel shortcuts, and file organization.

4) Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

  • Theory & Tools: Logical Framework, KPIs, baselines, surveys, data validation, reporting.
  • Field protocols: Coordination with service centers and community stakeholders.

Prep tips:

  • Revise common M&E frameworks; bring examples of reports you’ve produced.

5) Media & Communication Officer

  • Writing samples, press notes, social media plans, basic design sense, and event coordination.
  • Knowledge of GO/NO GO approvals, branding guidelines, and media ethics.

Prep tips:

  • Prepare a brief campaign outline and a press release sample.

6) Driver

  • Road signs, traffic rules, vehicle maintenance basics.
  • Valid LTV/HTV license (as applicable).

Prep tips:

  • Carry original license; know routine checks (oil, coolant, tire pressure).

7) Office Boy & Naib Qasid (Interview Only)

  • Office etiquette, filing support, mail/dispatch handling, and cleanliness.
  • Punctuality and understanding of instructions are key.

Prep tips:

  • Be ready for basic situational questions about supporting office tasks.
