Job Opportunity – Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) – Forest & Wildlife Department

The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) is inviting online applications for the Sub-Divisional Forest Officer / Assistant Conservator of Forests (BPS-17) in the Forest & Wildlife Department, Government of Sindh. This is a re-advertised position in consolidation with Advertisement No. 01/2025. If you hold a qualification in Forestry and are passionate about environmental conservation and natural resource management, this government job offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the sustainable management of forests and wildlife in Sindh.


📌 Job Position and Requirements

1. Sub-Divisional Forest Officer / Assistant Conservator of Forests (BPS-17)

Qualification:

  • M.Sc. Forestry / B.S (Forestry – Four Years’ Program) with at least 2nd Division or equivalent from a HEC-recognized university.
  • Subject to successful completion of mandatory pre-service training as prescribed by the Administrative Department.

Number of Posts: 07 (Open Merit – Male/Female)

Quota Distribution:

  • Rural: 04
  • Urban: 03

Age Limit: 21 – 30 years (General age relaxation applicable as per government policy)

Important Note:

  • If a candidate holds a similar qualification with a different nomenclature, it must be approved by HEC Pakistan. Candidates should provide concrete evidence and contact the SPSC office at least five days before the closing date.

  • Submit a Challan of Rs. 500/- through any online payment channel (using the 1 Bill invoice/service option).
  • One Challan is acceptable for all posts in a category.

3️⃣ Required Documents:

  • CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
  • Academic Certificates and Degrees
  • Experience Letters (if applicable)
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Recent Passport-Sized Photographs

4️⃣ Important Instructions:

  • Candidates must possess the required qualifications and experience.
  • Incomplete applications or those that do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered.
  • Government and Semi-Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
