Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following positions on Regular / Contract Basis and Tenure Track System (TTS) in the Department of Siraiki and University College of Nursing (UCN):

1. Professor (BPS-21) – Siraiki Department

• Number of Vacant Positions: 01
• Criteria for Appointment (Regular / Contract Basis):
  • PhD in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • 18 years of teaching/research experience in a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in a National or International organization.
  • OR, 12 years of post-PhD teaching/research experience in a recognized University or Institution.
  • 15 research publications, with at least 5 published in the last 5 years, in journals recognized by the HEC.
• Criteria for Appointment on Tenure Track System (TTS):
  • PhD from a recognized institution.
  • 11 years of post-PhD experience or 7 years of teaching/research experience.
  • 15 research publications, with at least 5 published in the last 5 years, in internationally abstracted journals recognized by HEC.

2. Assistant Professor (BPS-19) – University College of Nursing (UCN)

• Number of Vacant Positions: 02
• Criteria for Appointment:
  • RN, RM with Post RN, MSN, MSPH/MPH:
    • 3-5 years of teaching, research, and administration experience (preferred).
    • Minimum 2 publications in recognized Nursing/Health Sciences journals (at least 1 in the last 2 years).
    • Valid Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) License.
  • OR
  • BSN, MSN, MSPH/MPH:
    • 3-5 years of teaching, research, and administration experience (preferred).
    • Minimum 2 publications in recognized Nursing/Health Sciences journals (at least 1 in the last 2 years).
    • Valid Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) License.

Note:

• Foreign qualified candidates must attach an equivalence certificate from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC), as applicable.
• If the degree has not been issued, attach a Certificate/Notification signed by the Controller of Examinations from the degree-awarding university.

How to Apply:

• Applications must be submitted online via the IUB e-portal (available at: IUB e-portal) by 04 October 2024.
• Submit 05 complete sets of applications for the post of Professor and 02 sets for the post of Assistant Professor, with attested copies of degrees, certificates, and photographs.
• Hard copies of the applications should reach the office by 07 October 2024.
