The Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU) in Nawabshah, Benazirabad, Sindh, Pakistan is inviting applications from qualified candidates for various faculty positions including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor in multiple departments such as Botany, English, Economics, Genetics, Education, Organic Chemistry, Islamic Studies, English Language, Finance, Zoology, Islamic Culture, English Literature, Physical Chemistry, Information Technology, Sindhi, Business Administration, and Bioinformatics, as well as for internships.

Name of the Post: Qualifications and Experience as per HEC Criteria

01. Associate Professor (BPS-20), Sindhi

• Minimum Qualification: PhD in a relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institution.
• Experience: Experience is not required.

02. Assistant Professor (BPS-19), Media & Communication Studies

• Minimum Qualification: First Class MS/MPhil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institution, with no third division in the academic career.
• Note: Preference will be given to those familiar with script writing, audio, and video techniques.

03. Assistant Professor (BPS-19), Fine Arts

• Minimum Qualification: First Class MS/MPhil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institution, with no third division in the academic career.

04. Lecturer (BPS-18) in Various Subjects

• Subjects: English, Business Studies, Genetics, Statistics, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Sindhi, Education, Microbiology, Pakistan Studies, Media & Communication Studies
• Minimum Qualification: First professional degree (minimum 4 years, First Division) from an HEC recognized university/institution, with no third division in the academic career.

Director of Procurement (BPS-20)

• Minimum Qualification: MBA, BE, or Master’s in supply chain management. Preference will be given to those with training certificates from SPPRA or PPRA.
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in BPS-17, preferably in procurement, accounting, finance, or civil works. Must have at least one year of experience in BPS-19 or above in the referred fields and be a member/chairperson of at least five procurement or redressal committees in the last five years of any public sector organization.
• Skills: Proficient in procurement laws, negotiation, leadership, and procurement software. Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Secrecy Officer (BPS-17)

• Minimum Qualification: Postgraduate degree with at least a second-class or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience: At least four years of administrative experience, preferably in university examinations.

Horticulturist/Plantation Officer (BPS-17)

• Minimum Qualification: Preferably MS in Horticulture or B.Sc. (Hons) in Horticulture from an HEC recognized university, with a first class or CGPA of 3.00 or higher.
• Experience: At least four years of relevant experience, including nursery establishment and plant raising. Proficiency in AutoCAD and landscape design is preferred.

Computer Programmer/Developer (BPS-17)

• Minimum Qualification: MS/BS (4 years) in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field, with a first class or a minimum CGPA of 3.0 from an HEC recognized institution.
• Experience: At least four years of experience in software development/programming.
• Skills: Proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Laravel, ReactJS, and NodeJS. Excellent knowledge of databases and frameworks. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Protocol Officer (BPS-17)

• Minimum Qualification: Graduate degree (BS/B.Com) with at least a second division.
• Experience: At least four years’ experience in a reputed university or organization.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and time management. Responsible for guest reception, transport arrangements, accommodation, and meeting setups.

Assistant Director QEC (BPS-17)

• Minimum Qualification: MBA/MS in first division or a CGPA of 3.0 & above from any HEC recognized university.
• Experience: At least four years of teaching/QEC work experience from any HEC recognized university or degree-awarding institute.
• Skills: Proficient with semester/university and QEC working systems.
