Assistant Professor (Paediatric Dentistry), BS-18

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate learners in Paediatric Dentistry, including pre-clinical and clinical rotations.
  • Provide comprehensive child oral health services: prevention, restorative care, behaviour management, dental trauma, pulp therapy, and minor surgical procedures within scope.
  • Emphasize caries risk assessment, fluoride protocols, space maintenance, and special care dentistry for medically compromised children.
  • Participate in OSCE/OSPE assessments, case-based discussions, and simulation labs.

  • Teach clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and procedural skills to house officers and residents; participate in journal clubs and M&M meetings.
  • Manage common and complex internal medicine cases (e.g., cardiovascular, endocrine, pulmonary, renal, infectious, and rheumatologic conditions) and guide interdisciplinary care.
  • Participate in assessment design (SAQs, MCQs, OSCEs), exam invigilation, and curriculum mapping.
  • Lead or collaborate in research publications, audits, and continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
