About PPSC & Agriculture Research Wing

The Punjab Public Service Commission has long been the gatekeeper of professional integrity in public hiring. This recruitment campaign partners with Punjab’s Water Management Wing and the Research Wing of the Agriculture Department, tackling soil fertility, irrigation efficiency, and geospatial infrastructure. These roles are project-based, contractual for 5 years, and plugged directly into Punjab’s scientific modernization efforts. It’s not just research—it’s real-world impact on how land is mapped, managed, and preserved.

What You’ll Be Doing

In these roles, you’ll be part of provincial teams investigating everything from rural behavior to how digital soil mapping can improve yields. For example:

  • As a Sociologist, you’ll assess the social dynamics of water use, rural development, and project adoption across farming communities.
  • As a Senior Scientist or Scientific Officer, your focus will be GIS-based data modeling, topographic analysis, or spatial planning to support sustainable farming.

We’ll count on you to help gather, analyze, and visualize data that informs real government policy. The findings you contribute will help shape Pakistan’s food security and environmental resilience for years to come.
