Pakistan Petroleum Limited Job Positions Overview

Manager Reservoir Modelling

  • Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in petroleum engineering with a minimum of 14 years of experience in upstream E&P industry. Expertise in reservoir simulation studies and field development projects is essential.
  • Job Responsibility: Reporting to the Head of Development, this role involves conducting and managing in-house reservoir simulation studies, quality control of third-party subsurface studies, and recommending drilling of development wells and field development planning to enhance hydrocarbon production.

Senior Business Analyst (Finance)

  • Qualification & Experience: ACCA/ACMA/CFAP/MBA with at least 8 years of relevant experience or BBA/BS (Economics, Finance, or Accounting) with at least 10 years of experience. Preference for candidates with oil and gas industry experience.
  • Job Responsibility: Conducted financial analysis, provided performance insights, prepared financial forecasts, developed and reviewed valuation models and economics, and prepared company and industry data dashboards.

Senior Business Excellence Officer

  • Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related fields with at least 7 years of experience in business process improvement, sustainability, or related fields, including 3 years in a team lead role. Preference for oil and gas industry experience.
  • Job Responsibility: Develop and implement Business Excellence Framework, lead cross-functional teams in employing Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies, integrate environmental and governance standards, and oversee business process improvement initiatives.

Business Excellence Officer

  • Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Environmental Sciences, or related fields with at least 5 years of experience in lean management within manufacturing or production environments. Preference for oil and gas sector experience.
  • Job Responsibility: Develop and implement lean management strategies, lead lean projects, collaborate with teams to identify improvement areas, conduct training for continuous improvement, and demonstrate commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility.

Business Development / Senior Business Development Officer

  • Qualification & Experience: 4-year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Job Responsibility: Conduct market research to identify trends in the energy sector, identify emerging market segments, assess competitive positioning, formulate actionable strategies, and monitor demand-supply dynamics and regulatory changes.

Senior Engineer (Corrosion)

  • Qualification & Experience: 4-year bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in Pakistan, preferably with international exposure.
  • Job Responsibility: Handle corrosion engineering matters, support design, projects, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and inspection teams, and contribute to sweet and sour services, including wellhead casing, pipelines, and storage facilities.

Engineer / Senior Engineer (Well Integrity)

  • Qualification & Experience: 4-year bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering with 6-8 years of experience in Pakistan, preferably with international exposure.
  • Job Responsibility: Handle technical matters related to well integrity, support drilling, well design, production, projects, and inspection teams, and make site visits as required.

Technician (Rotary)

  • Qualification & Experience: Diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical Technology with at least 10 years of oil and gas or fertiliser industry experience. Preference for candidates with experience in major overhauls of high-speed turbomachinery.
  • Job Responsibility: Perform major overhaul jobs, troubleshoot, and maintain gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, high-speed gearboxes, pumps, and auxiliary equipment, including induced draft fans and reciprocating compressors.

Medical Officer / Senior Medical Officer

  • Qualification & Experience: FCPS (Internal Medicine), FCPS (Family Medicine), MRCP (UK/IRE), DABIM, DABFM, or completion of a 4-year residency in internal/family medicine. At least 1 year of post-fellowship/post-residency experience, preferably in the corporate sector. Registration with PMDC is mandatory.
  • Job Responsibility: Handle clinical and administrative roles, run clinics at various PPL sites, visit hospitals for in-patient staff, engage in health awareness sessions, and ensure quality health surveillance.

Staff Nurse (Women Only) – Sui Field Hospital

  • Qualification & Experience: BSc (Nursing) or diploma in General Nursing with Midwifery and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Preference for candidates with OT and paediatrics experience.
  • Job Responsibility: Provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with company doctors, assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor patient progress, and maintain accurate records.
