The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) invites applications from highly skilled and experienced professionals for multiple technical positions including Deputy Director (Senior Network Engineer), Assistant Director (Network Engineer), Assistant Director (Core & Wireless), and Assistant Director (System Administrator – Microsoft Stack). These roles require individuals with relevant qualifications and expertise in IT networks, administration, and infrastructure management.

NADRA, known for managing Pakistan’s citizen databases and ensuring data security, is offering these positions to capable individuals willing to contribute to critical IT operations at its Headquarters in Islamabad.


Job Positions and Details

Assistant Director (Core & Wireless)37 YearsBachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or Telecom3+ years in core networking, wireless implementation, and firewalls. Technical expertise in IP/MPLS, network switches, and protocols preferred.
Assistant Director (System Administrator – Microsoft Stack)37 YearsBachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or Telecom2+ years in Windows Server, virtualization, system security, and Microsoft enterprise solutions. Industry certifications preferred.

Position Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Deputy Director (Senior Network Engineer)

  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including wired and wireless systems.
    • Optimize network security protocols and address performance issues.
    • Deploy advanced routing technologies (e.g., BGP, MPLS) and ensure system stability.
    • Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement secure solutions.
  • Skills & Requirements:
    • Expertise in network architecture and wireless configurations.
    • Proficiency in Cisco, Huawei, or equivalent technologies.
    • Certifications like CCNP, CCIE, or HCIE are highly preferred.

2. Assistant Director (Network Engineer)

  • Responsibilities:
    • Troubleshoot and optimize core network infrastructure.
    • Implement firewalls, Network Access Control (NAC), and DDoS protection systems.
    • Monitor network security and perform risk assessments.
  • Skills & Requirements:
    • Solid understanding of network security, core routing, and switching.
    • Technical expertise in Cisco, Huawei, or related platforms.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

3. Assistant Director (Core & Wireless)

  • Responsibilities:
    • Deploy and maintain core network infrastructure and wireless networks.
    • Implement advanced IP/MPLS systems and network monitoring tools.
    • Perform configuration and troubleshooting of multi-vendor devices.
  • Skills & Requirements:
    • Experience with wireless systems and core protocols.
    • Technical certifications in networking and wireless systems are a plus.
    • Hands-on expertise in firewalls and access management solutions.

4. Assistant Director (System Administrator – Microsoft Stack)

  • Responsibilities:
    • Administer Windows Servers, virtualization tools, and Active Directory systems.
    • Deploy and configure system monitoring, backups, and security solutions.
    • Manage system optimization, troubleshooting, and patch management.
  • Skills & Requirements:
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft enterprise solutions.
    • Experience in server deployments, disaster recovery, and system hardening.
    • Industry certifications in Microsoft technologies are preferred.

Terms & Conditions

âś… Contract Duration: Initially for 3 years (extendable based on performance).
âś… Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests/interviews.
âś… Government Employees: Must provide an NOC (No Objection Certificate) at the time of application.
âś… Application Submission: Applications must be submitted by 2nd December 2024. Late submissions will not be entertained.
âś… Medical Requirements: Selected candidates must provide a fitness certificate.
âś… No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for interviews.
