Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) has announced new KW&SC Jobs 2026 for experienced, qualified, and performance-driven professionals to join its Transformation Team. After assuming the legal status of a corporation under the KW&SC Act,, Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation is moving through a major institutional transformation phase to improve water and sewerage services across Karachi, one of the world’s largest metropolitan cities. These vacancies are suitable for senior professionals in commercial operations, revenue recovery, finance, PPP, procurement, legal affairs, HR, corporate communications, board secretariat, customer relations, digital media, and legal research. The initial appointment will be on a 3-year annual renewable contract, with competitive market-based remuneration for selected candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for KW&SC Jobs 2026
Manager / Director Recovery & Receivables
The position is responsible for maximizing revenue realization, reducing receivables backlog, strengthening enforcement mechanisms, and improving payment discipline across all consumer segments. The role includes recovery planning, operational collection management, enforcement oversight, legal coordination, outsourced recovery governance, and deployment of data-driven recovery systems.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution. Professional qualification from a recognized relevant professional body will be preferred. Applicants must have minimum 8 years of relevant experience in revenue recovery, receivables management, billing operations, or commercial functions. Proven experience in leading large-scale recovery portfolios and enforcement operations is required. Experience in utilities, public sector entities, infrastructure services, or regulated environments will be preferred.
Manager / Director Performance Management
The position is responsible for revenue performance management and long-term financial sustainability. The selected professional will lead enterprise-wide performance monitoring and evaluation functions, support data-driven decision-making, and strengthen institutional accountability.
Candidates must have a professional qualification in Accounting / Finance from a recognized body or a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or an equivalent discipline. Applicants must have 8 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in performance management, commercial analytics, or revenue operations. Utility sector experience will be preferred.
Manager / Director Metering
The position is responsible for leading the end-to-end design, deployment, and management of the metering ecosystem across KW&SC. This role is important for accurate consumption measurement, NRW reduction, volumetric billing, and revenue enhancement.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, preferably with an engineering background. Certification from a recognized accounting or relevant professional body will be preferred. Applicants must have minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role in utilities, water, power, gas, or infrastructure sector. Demonstrated experience in metering systems, bulk and consumer metering, AMR / AMI technologies, Non-Revenue Water reduction programs, and large-scale project execution will be preferred.
Manager / Director Commercial Reforms
The position leads KW&SC’s commercial transformation agenda, including tariff reforms, NRW diagnostics, revenue enhancement, and commercial digitalization initiatives.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related discipline. Professional qualification from a recognized relevant professional body will be preferred. Applicants must have minimum 8 years of progressive professional experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management role in commercial transformation, strategy, or utility reforms. Experience in utilities, infrastructure, energy, telecom, or public-sector institutions will be preferred.
Strategy Division – Public-Private Partnership Node
Manager / Director Finance – PPP Node
This position is responsible for financial modeling and comprehensive investment evaluation, ensuring that KW&SC infrastructure projects are bankable and structured to attract robust private and development finance.
Candidates must have a Master’s in Business Administration (Finance) or a relevant degree in Finance / Accounting or professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CFA, ICMA, or CIMA. Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience is required in finance-related roles including investment banking, corporate banking, financial or infrastructure transaction advisory, project finance, corporate finance, capital markets, investment management, investment research, development finance, financial and tariff modeling, utility sector finance, and PPP projects.
Manager / Director Legal – PPP Node
The position will manage corporate legal requirements, vet RFQs and RFPs, handle legislative liaison, protect the organization’s legal interests, and mitigate risk through the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial and PPP contracts.
Candidates must have LLB or above qualification with minimum 8 years of corporate work experience, including drafting, vetting, or negotiating commercial contracts, dealing with banking and finance transactions, or handling transactions involving joint ventures, project finance, capital markets, mergers or acquisitions, corporate and commercial law firm work, or in-house legal counsel experience. Candidates having legal experience in oil and gas, energy, infrastructure, banking and finance transactions, projects, or PPP projects will be preferred.
Manager / Director Procurement / Contract Management – PPP Node
This position oversees competitive bidding to ensure strict compliance with SPPRA Rules, creating a transparent and regulatory-compliant environment for investor confidence and strengthening the contracting base.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Contract Management, Law, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or another relevant discipline from a recognized university. Professional certifications in procurement, contract management, or PPP procurement frameworks will be considered. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in public procurement, contract management, or PPP procurement is required.
Deputy Manager / Deputy Director Finance – PPP Node
This position supports the Director Finance in complex financial structuring and utility sector modeling. It provides data-backed insights required for sound project evaluation and investment decisions.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or above degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with Finance specialization, or professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CFA, ICMA, or CIMA. Human Resource Division
Manager / Director HR Operations
This position involves strategic leadership and governance over HR Operations, Industrial Relations, and HR Technology. The role ensures efficient, compliant, and technology-enabled HR services while driving operational excellence in the HR function.
Candidates must have MBA or BBA 4-year program, preferably in HR, or an equivalent degree. Certification in HR such as SHRM, HRIP, or equivalent will be preferred. Minimum 8 years of overall HR experience, including 2 years in a senior role in HR Operations, is required. Proven experience in leading digital transformation and sound knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors will be an advantage. Strong knowledge of labor laws, IR frameworks, and compliance governance is required.
Manager / Director Organizational Development
This position leads the Organizational Development strategy across KW&SC by designing and implementing OD program frameworks. It ensures alignment of HR initiatives with the organization’s long-term business strategy.
Candidates must have MBA or BBA 4-year program, preferably in HR, or an equivalent degree. Certification in HR such as SHRM or OD-related certifications will be preferred. Applicants must have at least 8 years of overall HR experience, including 2 years in a senior OD role. Hands-on experience in designing and implementing OD initiatives such as Performance Management Systems, Succession Planning, Talent Development, HR Policies & Procedures, Job Evaluation, and Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors environment will be preferred.
Corporate Communications Division
Manager / Director Customer Relations
The position is responsible for maintaining liaison with KW&SC consumers and addressing grievances and complaints through continuous customer engagement.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing), Communication, Public Relations, or any other related field. Certifications or specialized training in a relevant field such as CRM will be preferred. Minimum 8 years of experience in customer relations, sales, or marketing is required, with at least 2 years in a senior role. Supervisory experience at complaint management centers will be preferred.
Manager / Director Digital Communications
The position plays a critical role in generating and creating content for the website and all social media platforms of KW&SC. The role includes formulation and execution of corporate communication strategy across internal and external digital channels.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Media Studies, Communications, Marketing, or another related field. Certifications or specialized training in a relevant field will be preferred. Minimum 8 years of experience in journalism, digital media, content creation, or communications is required, with at least 2 years in a senior digital communications role.
Board Secretariat
Deputy Board Secretary
The Deputy Board Secretary reports to the Board Secretary and assists in managing board operations, drafting agendas, issuing notices, recording minutes of Board and Sub-committee meetings, coordinating meetings, and handling administrative, financial, and compliance matters on behalf of the Board Secretary or Management.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Corporate Governance, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university. Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in board secretariat, corporate governance, or relative administrative roles is required, preferably in the public sector or large organizations. Strong knowledge of board procedures, documentation, and governance practices is required.
KW&SC Tribunal
Research Analyst
The position is responsible for providing legal research, analytical and drafting support to the Tribunal Chairperson. The role supports the efficient adjudication of cases by supplying well-researched legal opinions, case summaries, and draft judgments. It also ensures that the Judge is supported with accurate, timely, and relevant legal information.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution with 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience in legal research, court practice, or judicial clerkship. Familiarity with court procedures and documentation will be an added advantage. Fresh graduates may also apply.
