B. Key Responsibilities (Role-wise)
Specialists (BPS-18)
- Deliver consultant-level care in assigned specialty at FC (South) Hospital Turbat and associated facilities.
- Lead inpatient and outpatient services, procedure lists, on-call cover, critical care support, and inter-departmental consultations.
- Develop and implement clinical pathways suited to a frontier setting; ensure safe referral and evacuation protocols.
- Supervise Medical Officers and paramedical staff; conduct bedside teaching, M&M meetings, and CME sessions.
- Maintain meticulous records, morbidity audits, and evidence-based practice in line with PMC ethics and institutional policies.
Medical Officers (BPS-17)
- Provide primary and emergency care at MI Rooms and hospital units; stabilize trauma, medical, surgical, and obstetric emergencies.
- Run daily OPD, ward rounds, minor procedures, vaccination drives, and public-health outreach under specialist supervision.
- Manage triage and evacuation, maintain medical logistics, and ensure infection prevention and control (IPC).
- Prepare case sheets, drug charts, and discharge summaries; coordinate tele-consults with specialists as required.
