FPSC Special CSS Competitive Examination

FPSC CSS  Exams 2023: Public Notice

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the date for the written part of the Special CSS Competitive Examination for the 2023 session.

This special examination aims to fill long-standing vacancies that were not filled in previous years through the regular CSS Exams. Eligible candidates include those from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, both Rural and Urban Sindh, Balochistan, and Ex-Fata.

Importantly, candidates who passed the MCQ Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for the Special CSS Competitive Examination, which took place on May 21, 2023, are advised to submit their online applications to FPSC no later than August 15, 2023, if they intend to take part in the written segment of the examination.

The written tests will be conducted in various locations across the country including Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Dera Ismail Khan, Faisalabad, Gilgit, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Larkana, Multan, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sukkur, and Turbat.

How to Apply for CSS Exams

Candidates interested in applying for the CSS Competitive Examination can submit their applications online until August 15, 2023. Relevant resources such as the Online Application form, Challan Form, as well as the Examination Rules & Syllabus, are accessible on the FPSC’s official website at www.fpsc.gov.pk. Alternatively, you can click here to access these resources directly.

Please note that Admission Certificates for the Written Special CSS Competitive Examination will be made available on the website by October 1, 2023. Importantly, no separate notifications will be sent to candidates via post.

As part of the application process, candidates are required to deposit an examination fee of Rs. 2200 before the August 15, 2023 deadline. Detailed instructions regarding the application procedure are outlined in the FPSC Public Notice.
