About FIA (Federal Investigation Agency)
The Interior Ministry of Pakistan seems to own the Federal Investigation Agency, which is in charge of border control, criminal investigations, counterintelligence, and security operations related to espionage, terrorism, smuggling, and other federal crimes. In 1974, the agency was set up by the Pakistani Constitution. It is now part of the Department of Interior.
The FIA’s international operations are also done closely with and in coordination with Interpol. The agency’s main office is in Islamabad, but it has many branch offices and field offices in the biggest cities in Pakistan.
