Key Responsibilities
The Chief Executive Officer will play a vital role in shaping the future of IHRA by delivering on its mandate to regulate and enhance healthcare standards. The primary responsibilities include:
- Governance & Leadership:
- Act as Secretary to the IHRA Board.
- Manage daily operations, ensuring efficient administration of authority functions.
- Provide strategic leadership to the senior management team.
- Financial Oversight:
- Oversee and manage IHRA’s funds and assets.
- Ensure financial health and compliance with governmental regulations.
- Policy Implementation:
- Develop and execute strategic and operational plans for the Authority.
- Assist the Board in policymaking, strategic planning, and implementing initiatives to achieve IHRA’s goals.
- Representation & Communication:
- Act as IHRA’s spokesperson in all relevant forums.
- Foster stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication of IHRA’s mission.
- Performance Management:
- Prepare reports, reviews, and evaluations for board review and appraisal.
- Ensure compliance with IHRA’s standards, policies, and legal requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
✅ Experience:
- Minimum 15 years in relevant fields, including hospital administration, public health, law, or finance.
- Additional qualifications in law, management, or medical subjects will be given preference.
✅ Age Limit:
- Maximum 62 years (inclusive of applicable government age relaxations).
✅ Skills:
- Strong knowledge of government regulations, policies, and rules.
- Leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
✅ Disqualifications:
- As per Section 13 of the IHRA Act, 2018.
