Bank of Khyber (BoK) invites applications for senior leadership and management roles in its Digital Banking Group based in Islamabad and Peshawar. Positions include: Head – Digital Channels Growth, Head – Cards & Payments, Head – Product Development & Innovation, Head – Data Analytics & AI, Head – Digital Acceptance, plus managerial tracks: Manager – Merchant Alliances, Manager – UX & Design Lab, Manager – Customer Analytics, Manager – Acceptance Network Expansion, Manager – Scheme & Partner Relations, and Manager – Revenue & P&L Management. Grades range from AVP-I to SVP-I for Head roles and AVP-I to VP-I for Manager roles. These are full-time positions under bank HR policies, with duty stations in Islamabad / Peshawar and cross-functional collaboration across Cards, Payments, Acceptance, Data & Analytics, Design, and Revenue Management.

📌 Job Type: Full-time (regular/contract as per bank policy).
🧭 Travel: Inter-city travel may be required for partner, merchant, and regulator meetings.


What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

Head – Digital Channels Growth

  • Set vision and OKRs for mobile and internet banking growth—registrations, KYC completion, MAU/DAU, conversion to funded actions.
  • Build growth loops and in-app journeys for account opening, bill payments, funds transfer, and lending offers.
  • Orchestrate CRM journeys (onboarding, activation, cross-sell, win-back) with event-based triggers.
  • Lead experimentation: A/B test funnels, reduce drop-offs, and optimize app store presence and ratings.

Head – Cards & Payments

  • Own issuing strategy across debit/credit/prepaid; roadmap chip/NFC/virtual cards; enhance risk controls (3-D Secure, tokenization).
  • Govern acquiring economics: MDR, chargebacks, settlement TAT, dispute resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with SBP frameworks, scheme rules, and PCI-DSS standards.

Head – Product Development & Innovation

  • Operate a discovery-to-delivery pipeline using agile methods and design sprints.
  • Build APIs/Open Banking connectors with secure consent.
  • Pilot embedded finance with ecosystem partners (marketplaces, ride-hailing, billers).
  • Maintain a balanced portfolio: core enhancements, regulatory change, and horizon-3 bets.

Head – Data Analytics & AI

  • Establish data governance, golden sources, and model monitoring; work with Risk and Compliance for fair-use.
  • Deliver use-cases: next-best-offer, early fraud signals, credit line optimization, NPS drivers, and Ops automation.
  • Publish a data product catalog and self-service dashboards for senior leadership.

Head – Digital Acceptance

  • Expand QR/POS/e-commerce acceptance with cost-efficient deployments.
  • Improve uptime, transaction success rates, and merchant TAT for onboarding and settlements.
  • Build omnichannel checkout experiences and value-added services (EMI, coupons, loyalty).

Manager Tracks (highlights)

  • Merchant Alliances: sign anchor merchants, manage co-funded promos, and measure ROI.
  • UX & Design Lab: maintain the design system, run usability labs, ensure WCAG-aligned accessibility.
  • Customer Analytics: run segmentation, build dashboards, and evaluate campaign impact and LTV.
  • Acceptance Network Expansion: plan deployment by corridor, keep uptime SLAs, and drive cost per active terminal down.
  • Scheme & Partner Relations: handle scheme reporting, audits, incentives, and certification calendars.
  • Revenue & P&L Management: manage pricing, commission models, and monthly variance analysis with Finance.

Who Should Apply (Qualifications) ✅

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Data/Statistics, Design, or related fields from an HEC-recognized institution. Foreign degrees require HEC equivalency at interview. 📝
  • Experience: Demonstrated success in digital banking, cards/payments, analytics, product, UX, or partner management—senior leadership for Head roles; hands-on delivery for Manager roles.
  • Skills:
    • Strong stakeholder management with regulators, schemes, processors, and technology vendors.
    • Comfort with data-driven decision making; understanding of unit economics and risk controls.
    • Familiarity with SBP regulations, PCI-DSS, AML/CFT controls, and information security practices.
    • For design roles: proficiency in user research, prototyping, and accessibility.
    • For analytics roles: experience with dashboards, segmentation, attribution, and lifecycle modeling.
