The Director of Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI) Colleges Punjab, Dr. Ashiq Hussain, commented on this topic and stated that the sole goal of increasing the shifts is to give students more academic facilities.

HED Punjab will be able to enroll 1.5 million more students in the province’s colleges thanks to the third shift. 1.1 million students have chosen to enroll in government colleges this academic year.

Moreover, the Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) is debating whether to release the matric exam results next month in a separate development.

According to reports, PBCC is considering declaring the matric results on August 31. But after consulting with the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, the official decision will be made (IBCC).

This year’s matric exams attracted over 270,000 students. This year, the students won’t be assigned to positions; instead of grades, they will be given grades.

The final exams for class 9 for all secondary education boards in Punjab began on May 26 and ended on June 10 while those for class 10 began on May 10 and ended on May 25.
